Dr. Kostas Karras

Kostas has been the associate dental surgeon at the White House Dental Clinic since 2007. Having qualified at the Royal London Hospital he has been practicing dentistry for 10 years. Subsequently he completed two years of specialist training at Guy’s Hospital in Prosthodontics which deals with the replacement of missing teeth. More recently he gained Registered Specialist status with the General Dental Council.
Kostas regularly attends courses and conferences in the UK and internationally as part of his commitment to continuing professional education. His areas of special interest include conservative adhesive techniques, bite problems and aesthetic dentistry. He is member of the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics and the American Equilibration Society and he annually attends their meetings in Chicago.
In the last 3 years he has been teaching undegraduate and postgraduate dental students at King’s College (Guy’s Hospital). This involves giving weekly seminars, clinical demonstrations and supevision of patient treatment.
